Shwap is a class project for TECM 4400. Each team was tasked with finding an interesting problem, and then designing a solution to solve that problem. My team chose to tackle a problem the UNT Technical Communication computer lab was facing, scheduling.
We came up with Shwap, a website that focuses on designing a user friendly employee scheduling app. It features tools for automating tasks such as scheduling, and shift communication.
This was the very first project I did at the University of North Texas for TECM 4400, the advanced level class of Information Design for Electronic Media. It was the class that really showed me what UX and design was, not by teaching it to us, but by giving us a project to work on from start to finish.
